Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

Winq helps teams plan, write and schedule posts to their social media accounts. This policy explains what information Winq collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Winq is operated by Uhmazing Studio (“we”, “us”). Questions? Email kenny@uhmazingstudio.com.

Information we collect

Your account

  • Your name and email address, used to sign you in and to show teammates who wrote or scheduled a post.
  • The workspaces you belong to and your role in each (owner, admin or member).

Content you create

  • Posts, drafts, schedules and the images you attach to them.
  • Ideas you type into “Write with Winq” so we can generate draft posts for you.

Social accounts you connect

When you connect a social account (for example a Facebook Page or an Instagram professional account), the platform asks you to approve Winq’s access. With your approval we receive and store:

  • Access tokens that let Winq publish on your behalf. They are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown in the app.
  • Basic profile information for each account: its ID, name or username, and profile picture, so you can recognise it in Winq.
  • Your app-scoped user ID from Facebook or Instagram, so we can honour deauthorization and data deletion requests that the platform sends us.
  • The ID and link of each post Winq publishes, and any error the platform returns.

Winq only uses these permissions to publish the posts you schedule and to show you whether they were published. We do not read your private messages, followers or other content from your accounts.

Technical information

We use a single cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our servers keep standard logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and debugging.

How we use information

  • To provide Winq: storing your posts, publishing them at the time you choose, and showing results.
  • To generate draft posts when you ask for them.
  • To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To contact you about your account or important changes to the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content or connected accounts for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • The platforms you publish to. When a post is published, its text and images are sent to the platforms you selected (for example Facebook or Instagram) and are then governed by that platform’s policies.
  • Service providers that run Winq for us: hosting and database providers, Amazon Web Services (image storage), and Vercel AI Gateway with its model providers (only for the ideas you send to “Write with Winq”). They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
  • Your teammates. Members of a workspace can see its posts, images and connected channels.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.

Images you attach to posts are stored at hard-to-guess public web addresses, because Instagram and Facebook download them from those addresses when publishing. Anyone with the exact address can view the image, so don’t upload anything you wouldn’t publish.

How long we keep it

  • Posts and images are kept until you delete them or the workspace is deleted.
  • Access tokens are deleted when you remove a channel, delete the workspace, or revoke Winq’s access on the platform.
  • Your account is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices and rights

  • Remove a connected account at any time from the Channels page in Winq. Its tokens are deleted immediately.
  • Revoke Winq’s access from the platform itself (on Facebook: Settings → Business integrations; on Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites).
  • Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing kenny@uhmazingstudio.com. See Data deletion for the full process.

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California) you may have additional rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority. We’ll respond to requests within 30 days.

Security

Access tokens are encrypted at rest, connections to Winq use HTTPS, and access inside a workspace is limited by role. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach that affects you as required by law.

Children

Winq is not intended for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date above, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app or by email.
